This second-generation Zen DAC improves performance by using a new 16 core processor and an upgraded jitter clock.

It brings fantastic technical ability and some very useful features such as a fully balanced 4.4mm Pentaconn balanced output, variable or fixed volume modes, switchable gain control via the PowerMatch switch, and an analog TrueBass mode that leaves the mid-range untouched. It also features built-in MQA decoding for those that listen to Tidal Masters or have their own MQA files.

The Zen DAC provides plenty of power to drive most headphones, but if you need a touch more oomph or have hard-to-drive cans, consider adding a Zen CAN to make a complete Zen Stack!
